The prime minister then revealed that the train was “Made-In-India,” to which the students collectively responded with enthusiasm.
The students also showcased their artistic talents by reciting poems on cleanliness and the Vande Bharat train. They also presented their paintings to the prime minister, adding a colorful touch to the event.
PM Modi further discussed the “Digital India” campaign and posed a challenge to the students, asking if they could imagine traveling without cash for a week and making payments only through UPI (Unified Payments Interface).
The launch of multiple Vande Bharat Express trains in a single day marks a significant milestone. The trains launched include the Rani Kamalapati (Bhopal)-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express, Khajuraho-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express, Madgaon (Goa)-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express, Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express, and Hatia-Patna Vande Bharat Express. Two of these trains are specifically meant for the state of Madhya Pradesh.
The improved connectivity provided by these trains will benefit popular tourist destinations in the state such as Bheraghat, Pachmarhi, and Satpura, among others.
The interaction between PM Modi and the students onboard the Vande Bharat Express not only showcased the advancements in Indian railways but also highlighted the government’s commitment to promoting indigenous manufacturing and digital innovation.
