Burning Man’s official forecast had warned of rain returning early on Sunday, September 3rd, with a 50% chance of more than 0.25 inches of rain and a 15% chance of more than 0.5 inches. Clearing skies were expected later in the day, with a slight chance of showers through the evening. The forecast also cautioned about the possibility of thunderstorms, which could bring gusty winds and lightning, particularly after 5 PM on Sunday.
