Haiour, Bihar: Dr. Bhaskar, a dedicated medical officer and MBBS graduate, has been a beacon of hope for the underprivileged people of rural Bihar. Affectionately known as ‘Gaaon ka Doctor,’ Dr. Bhaskar’s journey began in 2019, when he started his first free medical camp under a mango tree, treating underprivileged students and distributing free medicines.
That humble beginning has blossomed into a remarkable legacy, with over 100 camps conducted and more than 10,000 patients benefiting from his selfless service. Dr. Bhaskar’s commitment to providing quality healthcare to the marginalized has earned him the respect and admiration of the community.
“The inspiration behind this noble cause is my grandfather, who instilled in me the values of compassion and service,” says Dr. Bhaskar. “I dedicate this to him, and I hope to continue serving the people of Bihar in his memory.”
Dr. Bhaskar’s vision is to make healthcare accessible to all, especially the underprivileged. He continues to run a monthly medical camp at Paramhans School, Vaishali, providing free medical consultations, generic medicines, and sanitary napkins to rural girls and women, while educating them on menstrual hygiene.
His dedication and service have made a significant impact on the lives of countless individuals, and his work serves as a shining example of the power of one person to make a difference.
