Israeli attacks have escalated, particularly in northern regions, prompting the IDF to order residents of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip to evacuate urgently. Avichay Adraee, a spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), emphasized the dangerous combat zone status and announced plans for a forceful operation against Hamas infrastructures in the area.
The intensified attacks on Tuesday included strikes in central and southern areas, following earlier reports of the IDF withdrawing some forces from the north. Four rockets fired from Gaza toward Sderot in southern Israel triggered air raid sirens but caused no injuries, though a garage caught fire due to a missile interceptor launched at the rockets.
The Palestinian death toll in Gaza has reached 34,183, predominantly civilians according to the enclave’s Health Ministry.
