PM Modi Shares Concern Over Biden’s Prostate Cancer Diagnosis, Wishes Speedy Recovery

    -

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep concern on Monday over the recent prostate cancer diagnosis of former US President Joe Biden, extending his best wishes for a quick and full recovery. Modi shared his message on the social media platform X, stating, “Deeply concerned to hear about @JoeBiden’s health. Extend our best wishes to him for a quick and full recovery. Our thoughts are with Dr. Jill Biden and the family.”

Biden’s office had earlier announced that the 82-year-old has been diagnosed with an “aggressive form” of prostate cancer. However, officials reassured that the cancer is hormone-sensitive, allowing for effective management. The President and his family are currently reviewing treatment options with his medical team.

The diagnosis has prompted widespread concern and supportive messages from political leaders worldwide. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer conveyed his sympathies, saying, “I am very sorry to hear President Biden has prostate cancer. All the very best to Joe, his wife Jill and their family, and wishing the President swift and successful treatment.”

Former US President Donald Trump also extended his wishes through a post on TruthSocial, saying, “Melania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis. We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family, and we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery.”

Kamala Harris, former Vice President of the United States, expressed optimism on social media, describing Biden as “a fighter” and confident that he will face this challenge with strength, resilience, and optimism.

Barack Obama, former US President, also sent his best wishes, highlighting Biden’s lifelong commitment to cancer research. “Nobody has done more to find breakthrough treatments for cancer in all its forms than Joe, and I am certain he will fight this challenge with his trademark resolve and grace,” Obama said.

As Joe Biden and his family navigate this difficult time, global leaders continue to rally in support, wishing him strength and a speedy recovery.
