Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to embark on a day-long visit to Madhya Pradesh on June 27, during which he will flag off five Vande Bharat trains, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on Monday.
The Prime Minister will kickstart the train services upon his arrival at Rani Kamalapati railway station at approximately 10:30 am, the PMO confirmed.
The five Vande Bharat trains to be flagged off are as follows: Bhopal (Rani Kamalapati)-Indore Vande Bharat Express, Bhopal (Rani Kamalapati)-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express, Ranchi-Patna Vande Bharat Express, Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express, and Goa (Madgaon)-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express.
The Bhopal (Rani Kamalapati)-Indore Vande Bharat Express aims to provide seamless and rapid transportation between the two prominent cities of Madhya Pradesh. This improved connectivity will benefit cultural, tourist, and religious destinations in the region, as stated in the official release.
Similarly, the Bhopal (Rani Kamalapati)-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express will link the Mahakaushal region (Jabalpur) to the Central region (Bhopal) of Madhya Pradesh. This enhanced connectivity will prove advantageous for tourist attractions in the area.
