A horrifying and senseless act of violence has shaken the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, as renowned activist and poet Ryan Carson, 32, was fatally stabbed in front of his girlfriend in the early hours of Monday morning. The shocking incident was captured on CCTV footage, shedding light on the harrowing final moments of a dedicated environmental advocate.
The tragedy unfolded at approximately 4 a.m. when Ryan Carson and his girlfriend, having returned from a wedding on Long Island, were seen sitting on a bus stop bench. As they began walking down the block, an unidentified man, seemingly without provocation, kicked scooters parked along the curb. He then confronted the couple, demanding, “What the f–k are you looking at?” Moments later, he repeatedly stabbed Ryan Carson in the chest before fleeing the scene.
As Ryan lay wounded on the ground, the assailant returned and approached the terrified woman. In a disturbing act, he spat at her before making his escape.
