Dubai, UAE – Telal Fashions has doubled down on sustainability and social impact for its 2025 “The Most Beautiful Ramadan in the World” initiative, aligning with the UAE’s Year of Sustainability legacy. The campaign, launched at a glittering event in Dubai, introduces eco-conscious designs and community programs to celebrate the holy month.
This year’s collection emphasizes recycled fabrics, biodegradable packaging, and partnerships with local environmental NGOs. Notably, Telal has partnered with UAE-based startup EcoThreads to source 100% recycled polyester for its Ramadan line, reducing carbon footprint by 40%.
Abdussalam Hassan remarked, “Fashion must evolve responsibly. Our Ramadan campaign not only dresses the body but also nurtures the soul and planet.”
Key initiatives include:
- “Green Iftar” Pop-Ups: Stores powered entirely by renewable energy, offering organic dates and reusable tableware.
- Youth Design Competitions: Aspiring Emirati designers can submit concepts for future Ramadan collections, with winning designs to be produced in 2026.
- Digital Modesty Workshops: Free online sessions on styling traditional attire for modern occasions, targeting Gen-Z audiences.
The campaign will culminate in a grand fashion show at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Plaza, blending cultural performances with runway displays. “We aim to make Ramadan not just beautiful, but meaningful,” added Hassan.
