A 10-year-old Indian-British boy, Krish Arora, is making waves in the world of academia and beyond, after scoring an IQ of 162, surpassing the estimated IQ scores of renowned geniuses Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking, both believed to have scored around 160. This remarkable achievement places Krish in the top 1% of the most intelligent people globally.
Krish, who resides in Hounslow, West London, has recently been accepted into Mensa, the exclusive society for individuals with exceptional IQs. He will also be joining the prestigious Queen Elizabeth’s School, one of the UK’s top grammar schools, this September. In addition to his academic prowess, Krish has an exceptional musical talent. He has won numerous awards as a pianist and has earned a spot in the Trinity College of Music’s “Hall of Fame” for completing four grades in just six months. Currently, he holds a grade 7 piano certification, a testament to his musical brilliance.
“My primary school is boring; I don’t learn anything. I like algebra,” Krish says, adding that the 11-plus exams were “too easy” for him. He is eager to start at his new school, which he believes will provide more challenging opportunities to match his abilities.
Beyond his academic achievements, Krish is an accomplished musician. He regularly participates in musical competitions across West London, often outshining competitors up to four years older than him. His ability to perform entire pieces from memory, without sheet music, has earned him admiration. Krish’s parents proudly state that he can recall intricate instrumental pieces on the piano from memory.
In his spare time, Krish enjoys solving complex crosswords and puzzles. He is also a fan of the TV show Young Sheldon and has a keen interest in chess. Despite his young age, Krish regularly outperforms his chess teacher, further demonstrating his exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
Krish’s parents, Mauli and Nischal, both of whom have engineering backgrounds, noticed their son’s extraordinary abilities at a very young age. According to his mother, Mauli, Krish exhibited remarkable skills by the age of four, such as reading fluently, solving decimal divisions, and completing an entire maths book in just three hours.
His family’s recognition of his talent has led them to encourage his growth in every area. Krish’s natural inclination toward excellence continues to shine as he approaches new challenges and strives to reach even greater heights.
Krish’s story serves as an inspiring example of youthful brilliance, demonstrating that even at a young age, the pursuit of knowledge and self-improvement can lead to remarkable accomplishments.
