Renowned singer Honey Singh has recently come forward claiming to have received a threatening phone call from Goldy Brar, the main accused in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case. Singh has expressed fear for his safety and has sought security assistance from the Delhi Police.
After receiving the alarming call from a person identifying himself as Goldy Brar, the prime accused and alleged mastermind behind the assassination of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, Honey Singh immediately visited the Delhi Police headquarters to report the incident. While addressing the media, Singh refrained from divulging specific details but acknowledged that his staff had received a call from Goldy Brar, who had threatened him.
Singh, known for his music and rap, emphasized that until now, he had only received love and support from his fans, making this threatening call an unprecedented occurrence. The singer admitted feeling frightened by the situation and expressed his urgent need for protection from the Delhi Police.
In response to Singh’s report, the police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) against the caller and initiated a thorough investigation into the matter. The authorities are taking the threat seriously and working diligently to ensure the safety of Honey Singh.
According to the police, Singh’s manager, Rohit Chabra, received the initial call from an individual claiming to be Goldy Brar, who demanded a sum of Rs 50 lakh. Following the call, the manager continued to receive random calls and voice messages from the same phone number.
Goldy Brar, whose real name is Satwinderjit Singh, is a key figure in the case. Born in 1994, Brar holds a BA degree and hails from Sri Muktsar Sahib in Punjab. In 2017, he traveled to Canada on a student visa. Notably, Brar is associated with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, and in a Facebook post, he claimed responsibility for the attack on Sidhu Moose Wala. Brar stated that the killing was carried out in collaboration with Sachin Bishnoi Dhattaranwali and Lawrence Bishnoi, as an act of revenge for the death of Vicky Middukhera.
The Delhi Police are diligently investigating the matter and have assured Honey Singh of their full support in ensuring his safety. Stringent measures will be taken against the accused, Goldy Brar, and any individuals involved in issuing threats or jeopardizing the well-being of public figures.
As the investigation progresses, authorities urge the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities or information that could aid in resolving the case and maintaining the security of artists and celebrities.
