Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto’s recent phone call with former U.S. President Donald Trump has gone viral after the video was shared widely on social media. The phone call, made on Monday, was posted by Prabowo on his social media platforms. In the video, Prabowo congratulates Trump on his election victory, offering to fly anywhere to personally congratulate him. “Wherever you are, I’m willing to fly to congratulate you personally, sir,” Prabowo says in the clip. Trump responds warmly, “We’ll do that, anytime you want.”
The call was made after Prabowo arrived from China, where he had met with President Xi Jinping. His trip to the U.S. marks his first official visit since taking office. During the conversation, Trump expressed his pride in his electoral success, calling it “the most successful in over 100 years” and described the victory as a “big mandate.”

Prabowo, a former special forces commander, also used the visit to meet with U.S. company representatives, including from Freeport McMoRan and Chevron. He urged these companies to invest in Indonesia, highlighting the country’s economic potential.
