Reports have surfaced suggesting that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s alleged illegitimate daughter, Luiza Rozova, has been living a low-profile life in Paris since the onset of the Ukraine war. The 21-year-old, who also goes by the name Elizaveta Olegovna Rudnova, has reportedly kept her identity shrouded by avoiding the traditional patronymic naming convention that links her to Putin.
Rozova’s connection to Putin stems from her mother, Svetlana Krivonogikh, a former cleaner who has become a multi-millionaire since Putin assumed power in 2000. The Pandora Papers, a massive leak of financial documents, revealed that Krivonogikh’s wealth grew substantially, reportedly amounting to £83 million. She now owns multiple properties, including luxurious houses in Monte Carlo, a yacht, and stakes in the Igora Ski Resort near Finland. Krivonogikh is also on the board of Bank Rossiya and serves as the director of National Media Group, a Kremlin-linked propaganda entity.

Rozova, who works as a DJ, reportedly deleted her social media accounts in 2022 after facing online harassment following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Critics flooded her accounts with comments featuring Ukrainian flag emojis and accusations of hiding in luxury while the war unfolded.
According to a Ukrainian TV channel, Rozova’s movements were tracked through leaked flight manifests. These documents revealed her use of the patronymic “Olegovna,” linking her to Oleg Rudnov, a confidant of Putin and a key figure in arranging luxury real estate transactions before his death in 2015. Despite these claims, Rozova has publicly denied being Putin’s daughter.
“Judging by his young photos, probably, yes, it looks similar. But, as it turned out, there are a lot of people who look like Vladimir Vladimirovich,” Rozova reportedly said when addressing the allegations.
The Rise of Svetlana Krivonogikh
Investigative reports from Proekt, an independent Russian news organization, suggest that Krivonogikh and Putin were close during his time as the mayor of St. Petersburg, despite Putin being married to Lyudmila Shkrebneva at the time. Krivonogikh’s rapid ascent to wealth and influence coincided with Putin’s rise to the presidency, further fueling speculation about their relationship.

Rozova previously shared glimpses of her life on social media, posting photos and videos of herself dancing and posing. However, she later expressed gratitude for the attention the investigative stories brought to her, saying, “My life was so stagnant; I am very grateful for the chance to be in the limelight.”
